Rajini - Aishwarya Rai to release Rettai Suzhi audio!

Superstar Rajinikanth and his lady love in Endhiran Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are going to release the audio of Shankar's home production Rettai Suzhi. Directed by Thamira, veteran film makers K Balachander and Bharathiraja are playing the lead role for the first time in the film.

The audio release will be held in Sathyam Cinemas complex on March 15 and Aishwarya Rai will be the chief guest of the event. Sources say that superstar Rajini also accepted the invitation to attend the event on the special request of director Shankar.


Aishwarya Rai is now in Chennai for a 10 day shoot of her Sun Pictures magnum opus Endhiran with superstar Rajinikanth and others. Shankar had asked her to keep herself free on Monday (March 15) morning for the audio launch at Sathyam Cinemas.

Karthik Raja, the elder son of Maestro Ilayaraja is the composer for Rettai Suzhi. Remember, Karthik is the first composer from the Maestro's campus who compose for a Shankar film!

Aishwarya Rai to release ‘Irattisuzhi’ audio

Director Thamira has managed something which is considered a difficult task. That is bringing Aishwarya Rai to release a Tamil film audio in Chennai.

The beauty queen will be in Chennai on March 15 to release the audio of ‘Imayamum Sigaramum Irattisuzhi’. The film has ace directors K. Balachander and Bharathiraja playing the important male roles. Not enough the film is produced by Shankar’s S Pictures. To add more the music of the film is by Maestro Ilaiyaraja’s elder son Karthik Raja.

With so many heavy weights associated with the film can Aishwarya Rai refuse the invitation? ‘Irattisuzhi’ will be in theaters during the first week of April.

Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh, Abhishek boycott Filmfare Awards to protest for being publicly insulted

The revered Bachchan family boycotted this year’s Filmfare Award that was, recently, held on 27th February, Saturday in Mumbai. The reason for the boycott is evident. Only a few days back, the esteemed ‘Mumbai Mirror’ tabloid had printed an article on Aishwarya Rai claiming that she was suffering from stomach tuberculosis and was, hence, unable to bear a child from hubby Abhishek Bachchan.

This piece of news didn’t go down well with the Bachchan family who felt insulted and affronted over this story that they found to be extremely demeaning and disrespectful. “Thearticle was indecent and any man in the world must oppose if such an obscene article is written about a woman in his family,” posted Amitabh Sir on his blog.

Since its publication, the article has caused quite a ruckus and Abhishek, Aishwarya and Big B have slammed the tabloid rubbishing such spiteful reports and calling it a cheap way to garner publicity. “No women would like her personal issues such as fertility or motherhood being discussed in this manner,” quipped an angry Amitabh.

The Bachchan household demanded an immediate public apology from the media house but no such apology came from the ‘Mumbai Mirror’. “For the moment… that despite a few personal apologies from the management and owners, no public apology has taken place. You cannot abuse me in public and then come and say sorry to me in private,” Big B blogged.

And hence, not only did Ash shunned her performance on the evening but the entire Bachchan brigade absented themselves from 55th Annual Filmfare Awards. Lashing further Amitabh wrote, “The modesty of a lady in my house was slandered… thearticle slandered Aishwarya, so it was very difficult to participate in a function organised by the same media house.”

Aishwarya Rai’s Holi goes dry as she shoots Bollywood’s next Holi song

Bollywood hasn’t been playing much of a Holi in the recent years. The last Holi song that was shot was way back in 2005 that had this racy, titillating number ‘Do me a favour….let’s play Holi’ starring the super sexy Priyanka Chopra with the hot-bodied Akshay Kumar in Vipul Shah’s ‘Waqt: Race Against Time’.

Since then, the B-town has seen the evolution of Hindi cinema with sensible and new-age films being made including the likes of ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Dev D’, ‘Rock on’, ‘Wake up Sid’ and ‘3 Idiots’ to name a few but none of them have showed the frenzy of this coloured festival.

But, renowned director Vipul Shah has geared up again to record another Holi song for his upcoming ‘Action Replay’. Using organic and skin-friendly colours, he has captured the thrill and joys of Holi once again with Aishwarya Rai and Neha Dhupia getting smeared up in the rainbow colours. But, instead of going wet, they decided to save gallons of water and played dryHoli.

“We saw no point in wasting 70-80 tankers of water for a three-day shoot, given that Mumbai is facing a water crisis. As a responsible citizen, we chose the dryHoli concept to picturise this Shreya Ghoshal song, penned by Irshad Kamil,” cites Vipul Shah.

The song in question is an AR Rahman composition whose lyrics go like this- ‘Jali toh bujhi na kasam se koila ho gayee haan………’

So, if you are looking forward to a good Holi track, AR, surely, doesn’t seem to disappoint. But, if you were hoping to feast your eyes on a wet Aishwarya with colourful water dribbling from her drenched, transparent chiffon saree, you are up for a heart-break……

Aishwarya Rai Casts Her Sweet Revenge

Recently, Aishwarya Rai had a tough time after false reports were published in a tabloid saying that she suffers from stomach tuberculosis and thus is facing problem to conceive. Ash is in no mood to compromise with the tabloid and when she came to know that it is associated with the organizer of the award function that she is going to perform, immediately she changed her decision.

Now Ash has decided not to perform for the show even if they threw a large sum to lure her. It seems anger and hurt of Ash is still fresh as she has turned turn down a lucrative amount of eighty five lakhs to enliven the stage with her hot number. She stated, “main nahi nachhongi no matter how strong the lure of lucre.”

Instead, Ash is demanding apology from the tabloid for the damage they had done on her personal front to which they have not reacted till now.

Well what could be other better way to calm her feelings of hurt? May be this is the best way to take a revenge.
